I have been learning photography for about 30 years, and I am still very much an amateur. I have always had a strong interest in the visual world through the lens of a camera. When I can capture nature at its finest, I get a feeling that everything is fine in the world, but with great pleasure comes great disappointment when capturing what has become of the miracle we exist on. Photography is a snapshot of what once was, reminding us each time we view an image of the excitement, beauty, and struggle present in a moment in time. An image captured in just the right way can hold incredible emotions: joy, anger, sadness, and immense pleasure.
